Busher, John

b. 1812, in England, United Kingdom. In 1850, Busher made his living as a tanner and a farmer in Sangamon County, Illinois, and possessed real estate worth $1,000. He formed a partnership with Allen Miller on November 5, 1858, in the hide and leather business. In 1860, Busher was a leather dealer with real estate worth $10,000 and personal property worth $3,000.
